About five years ago I lost 65+ pounds through a combination of the Atkins diet and Pilate's. I managed to keep it off for almost 2 years, when the weight began to gather around me again due to the stress of making a major career change. Now that I've managed to get myself settled in my chosen career I need to get the weight off again. So it's back to atkins, as well as exercise. I'm seriously considering going the P90X route....not sure yet, but considering it.
For the moment I'm doing the 100 exercise thing. Whatever I pick each day, whether it's push ups, squats, crunches, or the like, I have committed myself to doing 100 of the chosen exercise that day. So, I started yesterday with 100 squats and I have done 100 today. It is do-able, but my poor legs and glutes are on the sore side. But hey, at least I'm moving!
